In June 2017, Blizzard Entertainment exclusively authorized Allied e-Sports to host China’s “Overwatch Open Division”, the first Overwatch competition for non-professional players. As an official international tournament launched by Blizzard Entertainment, Overwatch Open Division provides a stage for non-professional players to show their skills, and reinforces the systems of each level’s professional tournaments. With Blizzard Entertainment, Allied e-Sports will make the Open Division more influential in China and bring a positive, fun eSports contest to Chinese players.
